'good mood: coping with depression'

Target group: everyone! 

This workshop is based on a study of current research. 
The aim is to improve your understanding of low mood and depression. 
It provides practical strategies to lift your mood.  The workshops discuss the theory underlying changing habits, and have a practical focus. 

  • Introduces the role of the digestive system and how the brain can change with practice. 
  • Includes a brief introduction to mindfulness. 
  • Includes practice of breathing techniques, physical movement and different types of meditation.
  • Time for optional sharing of personal experience in the group setting. 
  • Includes examples, worksheets with exercises to take-home, and optional homework.  Optional follow-up phone call included. 

Please bring:  yourself!  A water bottle.  Snacks if you need them.
Wear comfortable clothing.
