Reclaim control: coping strategies for addiction

Adaptive yoga practice. 
Foundations in full yogic breathing.
Emphasis on emotional and physical tension release in a safeand relaxed environment.

Practice centres on improving spinal alignment and freeing up stuck areas of the body
by improving flexibility, and gently encouraging and stimulating greater joint mobility and health.
 
Gentle options provided with option for restful and passive (yin) practice,
to a more dynamic practice as the course progresses through parts I-III.

Emphasis on moving energy in the body, and building new neural connections with novel movements. 

Introduction to yogic philosophy and the chakras.

Opportunity for optional partner activities. 

Safe environment for facilitated discussion with other group members. 

Presentation and practice of techniques for self-soothing and re-connecting with the emotional body.
 
Practical tips provided for simple ways to bring practice into life.
