what to expect:
Classes typically begin with a short chant of Om to link the energies of the group, followed by breathing exercises (pranayama); warm up exercises; postures (asanas); relaxation and meditation. Inspiration flows from yoga styles including sivananda, ashtanga, yin, vinyasa flow and kundalini.
Classes are never the same twice! Focus is on cultivating and moment-to -moment awareness. For those new to yoga and those with years of experience, respect for the body is paramount. Modifications will be provided, wherever possible, to accommodate individual abilities.
Ideal yoga teaching is 1:1 student to teacher, in the traditional way. Please inquire for private yoga classes. Also available: Skype sessions, group classes, and corporate sessions.
Harriet offers a range of yoga styles from dynamic to restorative. Harriet has years of experience with teen yoga teaching for emotion regulation to empower young people with information and practical tools to manage their fluctuating feelings, improve concentration, build resilience, and rest. Parents/caregivers also welcome.
Based in Edgecliff, happy to travel to Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and city centre, in your private home or space.
