Sleep well: strategies for more nourishing sleep
Date: March 24, 10.30am-1.30pm
Venue: Riverstone Neighbourhood Centre Hall
Target group: everyone!
We all have the occasional interrupted sleep or sleepless night. But when this becomes the norm
rather than the exception, it’s time to take control. Inadequate sleep and insomnia can lead
to a host of mental and physical health challenges. Lack of sleep can make it very difficult
to carry out our daily lives, and work and relationships can suffer.
There is help available. This workshop is based on a study of current research.
The aim is to improve your understanding of sleep, from a mental and a physical health perspective.
The body-mind connection is central to understanding and changing our sleep habits.
The seminar provides information and practical strategies to help us get off to the land of nod
when we need to, and to stay asleep for a nourishing rest.
The workshop presents the theory underlying changing habits, and has a practical focus.
