research interests and experience
Research interests include the critical evaluation and exploration of a wide range of approaches to health and wellbeing, from the applied to the theoretical and across arts and sciences of the East and West. Current research centres on evaluation of psychology- and yoga- based workshops. Results will inform future course development.
Harriet has carried out research in the History and Philosophy of Science, Neuroscience and the effects of long-term meditation; Applied Psychology: including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and the efficacy of yoga-based psychological programs' across a range of mental illnesses, including addiction, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders.
